Credit Given When It’s Due
Hey,
just a quick one. I’ve started learning XNA and am using the tutorials from the following book.
The fantastic thing about this book is that it’s really simple to get started with

and is quite interesting to follow as well. Alot of tutorial books start either way too easy or presume that you’re some sort of rocket-scientist trying to get a refresher on games. but there’s not much material about for professional applications developers wishing to dip their feet into gaming.
I bought it on Ebay for only £15.99 as Ive heard some good reviews around.
Go get one NOW!!!!
Hello world!
Hi, I guess I should introduce myself.
The name is Daniel Grant. I have decided to start this blog to track my progress of learning how to become a games developer.!!! Yes, I said it a games developer. You know those incredibly intelligent people that create all of the games that we know and love!!
I’m currently trying to dedicate my time towards XNA C# games to help me focus on the core theory and I’m also enrolled in a BSc Games Tech course in Qantm College ( SAE Institute ). Hopefully within the two years that i’m there i’ll be able to gain as much experience as I can and land straight in a job within the games industry.
I’ll be making regular updates in this place and trying to post as much info and examples of what I’ve learnt, also regular goings on in the world of Dan.
